Morocco is in Africa

I didn't actively attempt to make this happen, but I see I am posting news of my next big adventure exactly a year after my Istanbul announcement.  In fact, I hadn't given a thought to my Blogger page since I wrapped up writing about my trip last year.

It took me a few tries just to sign-in, because I couldn't remember my info.

Anyhow, my next big adventure.  Morocco.  Yeah, it's pretty much this whole other country, and it is in Africa.  Not South America.  Not Asia.  Not the Middle East.  Africa.  Sorry if that seems redundant, but I would wager large sums of cash (which I don't have, anyhow) that someone reading this did not know where Morocco is.

Be honest.  You weren't really sure where Morocco was.

So, why Morocco?  Cheap airfare?  Definitely not.  Did I win a trip?  Not exactly.  Is it for Spring Break again?  Well, that is one of the two weeks I'll be there.

No, this trip has come about thanks to some decent grades and an interview that went well at school (Indiana University-Purdue Universtiy Fort Wayne, or IPFW for short).  They took the top 40 GPA seniors in the Doermer School of Business, gave an invitation to us for some interviews, and then chose 15 of us to be Lawson Scholars.

This entails an all-expenses-paid business trip to Morocco, where we will be doing some consulting and marketing work for two of our northeastern Indiana businesses, Ofabz--which sells swimsuits and Annie Oakley Perfurmery--which sells (I hope obviously) perfume.

All I can say is, this should be one interesting trip.  We'll be departing Fort Wayne on March 5th, so I'll probably throw an update with some specifics in it on here before that.
